Default saving screenshots as .bmps

hello

i've read in a couple of places, that in order to save screenshots in a higher quality image, you change it to a .bmp instead of a jpeg.

my question is, how do you save it to become a .bmp instead of a jpeg?

thanks a lot!

All you do is right-click on your GW icon, and in the "Target" command line, type this in:

Quote:
"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -bmp
Your filepath might differ, but basically all you do is put " -bmp" at the end of the line after the quotations.

If you're interested there's a whole host of other things that changing the command line will do, here's the full list. There's also probably better instructions than I gave as well.

Everybody should do this IMO. The difference between lossless and JPEGs is easily noticeable. Only thing I hate is their size.
